5FAVs with Eliaz

DJ and producer from the Slovenian city of mercury ore, lace, and traditional Slovenian dumplings - Idrija. Eliaz is recognized for his energetic personality, which is also reflected in the way he produces and performs.

Eliaz has been involved in music his whole life. At the age of 10, he started playing the drums in musical school and then moved on to playing in various punk bands. As soon as he was of age he started visiting parties and similar events and very soon found out he wants to produce electronic music. He began immediately and also started to DJ one year later.

Listen to his production mix below:

"Below I will be presenting the music I really like. Of course, 5 tracks is not nearly enough to present everything I like, so I tried to present 5 tracks from 5 different genres."

Massive Attack - Girl I Love You

"I will start with favorite bands. Best concert I've ever been to and I am going again in July with my girlfriend... Can't wait!!! I like the live version of this track better than the original one, that's why I posted this one."

Biosphere - Antennaria

"If the mood is right, that is one of my favorite tracks! Really dark and beautiful. I don't know why, but every time I listen to it I have a feeling that something went terribly wrong. Maybe the sound of Earth, saying something to humanity... :) I really love it when music is so strong that it can give me feelings like this... Listen to the track and you'll know what I mean!!"

Thievery Corporation - The Richest Man In Babylon

"No CD has been played that much in my car as this one. The whole album is absolutely fantastic!"

Slick Rick - Children's Story

"That was my gateway track into old-school hip-hop. When I was younger I always said that I don't like rap or hip-hop, and then I heard this, and a new world opened to me." :D

Ubik - 1991

"Last but not least, a 4/4 track. As heard in my production a really love a strong kick and a phat bass. This track delivers both of my requirements." :)
