Influenced by the likes of Underground Resistance, Floorplan and Head High, London based Ryan Aitchison, better known as Mella Dee, is masterfully finding his sound. He's creating a unique blend of driving techno by fusing elements of house with essences of hardcore and jungle. Releases on DEXT Recordings and Sweden based Omena Records helped gain huge support from the likes of Daniel Avery, The Black Madonna, Bicep, Radio Slave, Len Faki and others.
Mella Dee will soon make his Shall Not Fade debut with the industrial, dance floor ready "Not Here To Make Friends" EP. It'll be available from 12th October onwards. Prior to this occasion, we invited him to our regular 5Fav's article.

"No frills and does what it says on the tin when the bassline drops its guaranteed game over and obviously Spencer knows exactly how to make a belter for the clubs."
THE REAVER - MMMM
"Mr G. under the alias The Reaver bringing that trademark energy you expect from him, top club heater that gets heavy rotation when the vocal kicks in its game over."
