The talented Croatian producer Andrea Ljekaj, whose work we absolutely adore, has had his work grace powerful imprints such as Get Physical and Save Us. He is back to New Violence with 3 tracks of extreme dopeness to add a refreshing blend of powerful, percussive tech-house, beautiful deep vibes and progressive styling which will definitely freshen up our remaining summer days and nights.
Andrea’s constant travelling between Europe's largest cities sees him seamlessly join the dots between the old school and new school of underground dance music whilst adding his personal touch to his always progressing euphoric and powerful trademark sound which is truly his own. Andrea Ljekaj’s ‘Over & Over’ EP drops on New Violence Records and is to be released on the 26th of September. “Over & Over” is a grooving summer track, with a vocal so addictive, groove extra deep and infectious which makes it more than obvious we’re about to hear this one a lot in the coming weeks.
His second track “July Fourth" adds variety to the EP with its hypnotic vocals, minimalistic tribal percussion, throbbing bass which is perfectly sitting under the cool stabs which paint lush dreamscapes and just suck you in. Rounding things off is “Toronto” which possesses that "instant classic" appeal as it could have easily have been made years ago and would blend right in. We love the late night deepness smartly delivered using dreamy piano keys, seductive female vocals and driving stabs. So simple but so good, this well-balanced EP is sure to cause a bit of a commotion as it pleases a wide range of listeners.
