Modular Journey presents Cleric and Stigmata in Drugstore

Manchester-based DJ and producer Cleric & German techno legend Stigmata, are coming to club Drugstore, April 28th.

This booking will mark a year since first Modular Journey party, and MJ residents TKNO & Miles Nitch will be in charge for the intro & outro of the night. But first, let's introduce you to the guests who will be headlining this party: Stigmata & Cleric.

It's been 14 years since Chris Liebing summed up the astonishingly consistent output of his work with André Walter under the name Stigmata in a furious mix. Ten singles were released in just three years, then Chapter One - The Complete Collection seemed to have put an end to one of their many collaborative projects. But Walter continues. Besides founding labels and kick-starting the project Stigmata - his music evokes memories of the golden techno years to this day.

Two singles on Techno League and Nachtstrom Schallplatten appeared in 2010 and 2012. Now follows a complete package: Paraspectral will be released in two parts on vinyl and digital in early April. With the twelve or thirteen tracks, Walter picks up on the bulky techno design of the early days. Note: Stigmata moniker is for André's own input, but his full name is for collaborative efforts.

Cleric (from artist Facebook page)[/caption] Mysterious DJ and producer Cleric (real name Jorden Hodgetts) is active since 2012 and has had numerous releases on big labels like Arts & Figure. Besides that, he is the Clergy label boss. Not very big on biographies but famous for producing a sharp, atmospheric sound, he describes his music as a way to transfer emotions onto others.

Modular Journey resident DJs

TKNO, who is going to represent his own label Tauten, and Miles Nitch, who will represent the German agency Modular Source, are also scheduled to play on this event.

Modular Journey parties are a unified effort of Serbian label Tauten & Germany based Modular Source booking agency. For the past year, since this collab started, they did events in Serbia and Germany. In Belgrade, on their events, they've hosted names like Keith Carnal, Stigmata, Regal and SHDW & Obscure Shape.
