A small bunch of Split native DJ's, producers and promoters had an idea of creating a music label. That idea came to the realisation as a Sit Down Recordings. The freshly born label had its first release at the beginning of this year. Their next release comes from a talented Gran Canarian resident Carlos Sanchez. With a short but intense career, Carlos has released on various respected labels such as 8bit, Poker Flat, Suruba X, ... and he also got support from superstar DJ's such as John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Dyed Soundorom and others.

Release on Sit Down Recordings

He has recently released a fresh material on Croatian record label. "Bu Da Mae" EP is the fifth release on Sit Down Recordings and it features three original tunes and a remix from Marko Nastić. The first track of this package (Bu Da Mae) is a proper groover with subtle melodics which gives it a slight timeless feeling. "Double Bend"  is built from a break-beat groove, while pads in the background are leading the track into another dimension. The last original track, "Y Venga", has a similar sound structure as two previous ones. Rough bass-line drives the tune nicely and it's perfectly combined with shuffled 909 hi-hats.

Melodic pads and stabs are working in the groove with a bit darker vocal cuts. Marko Nastic, who's been quite active in the studio lately, is back on the remix duties. Marko remixed the opening track of this EP. He kept the vibe of the original track, which is a strong drum groove. We really like the idea of toms replacing the bass-line. In addition to that, he added his popular glitches and noises that are in the loop with the background pads. We came to the conclusion that this is a well produced and balanced EP which will be doing some serious damage to the dance-floors. The EP was released on 31st of October and is available to purchase via Beatport digital store HERE
