Specialwaves with a new modular controller

Specialwaves is a new brand with the goal to give DJ’s, producers and musicians something new, original, customisable and updatable. This passionate group of people is focused on researching and innovating new gear that would bring something extra to the world of music. So they've recently launched their first product which will be definitely hitting the spotlights.

Mine

Mine is designed for DJ's, producers and musicians who are looking for a highly customisable, expandable and reconfigurable product. It is a modular midi controller made of single electronic interfaces that you can build how ever you want in order to offer the maximum flexibility in the creation of its configuration. The needs and demands in modern electronic music society are getting bigger each day, so therefore artists are looking for new solutions. Mine's modules can be inserted into the case or removed how ever you want and that creates a number of possible configurations. At the moment, there are five modules: Pad, 2 buttons, pot, encoder and fader. You can use all modules however you want, place them horizontally or vertically, depends on how you want to use them.

There are currently two versions are available: A larger Mine and a smaller MineS. Mine consists of a 8x8 matrix, that allows you to insert up to 64 modules, while MineS is an 8×4 matrix and it can accommodate up to 32 modules. You can check out the video below and see these two bad boys in action.
