Stiropor festival 2016 is back for the third year in a row. This years program certainly goes towards a bit edgier and darker direction, with more live acts and fewer DJ sets. In that spirit, they've also picked out venues, that usually don't host electronic events. And for the first time, a piece of the program will involve a club night in Klub K4. 4 days, 7 events, 19 acts and 9 guests of electronic goodness. From 26th to 29th October.
This year's headliner is set for the opening night of the festival: noise veteran Dominick Fernow (aka Prurient) will perform with his cold industrial/techno monicker Vatican Shadow at Metelkova's Menza pri Koritu on 26th October. On Thursday, Brassfoot will play an exclusive and rare hip-hop set with his college Lord Tusk, who's performing in Ljubljana for the first time. Location: the newly established gallery of contemporary arts, Dobra Vaga.
Together they'll also be kickin' some knowledge at the music production workshop. Then on Friday, you can listen to live act/concert by the machine duo Juju & Jordash in the basement of the Museum of Modern Art at 21.00. What follows are Low Jack and Brassfoot in K4 with supporting local acts. To begin the day properly, an official afterparty is organized.
