Tren iki presents the labels first release

Tren iki is a newborn imprint hailing from Canary islands, Tenerife. The label is focused on young talents and good vibes which they'll deliver through carefully selected music. Their first release is a VA compilation that includes four original tunes from Acanalar, Moonlit Vision, Franco Radetich and Alejandro Cuestas.

IKI001 - VA. Part 1

The UK duo Acanalar wrote "Reminder" which is kind of tune that you'd like to hear at the beginning of a set and therefore suits perfectly as the opening track of the VA. Smooth deep vibes lead by soft background pads and stabby bass line, a formula that has been proven many times already. Another UK couple Moonlit produced the second tune on the compilation. "Anna" is a club-friendly groover with strong foundation a stomping drive dominated by swingy hi-hats.

"Space Wave" by Franco Radetich presents the Argentinian flavour with spacious ambient in the background and strong drum pattern in front of it. The glitchy vocals are triggered rather randomly but work pretty well. The last track comes from another Latin America producer, Alejandro Cuestas who hails from Lima, Peru. A bit quicker bpm's take this track straight to dance podiums where the groove will take over. The bass bounces in its own groove making space for drum elements and especially synth glitches and plucks.

As this is labels first release, we didn't expect too much and we have to say that IKI001 has definitely made a statement. All tracks are pretty solid and will surely be heard around clubs, festivals and other appearances.
